Lets get this out in the open now, I'm a massive Amy Winehouse fan.
I'm well aware of the fact she's trashy, tragic & perhaps even not the best looking woman in the world, however, I LOVE HER. Deal with it...

So on the cusp of the news that she and her once husband, turned jail-bird ex Blake Fielder Civil have reunited and decided to get married once again, I thought why not dedicate a post to the two love-birds (any excuse to feature my girl is a welcomed one). I'm still unsure how I feel about the news, however I do realise that she seems blissfully happy and head-over-heels-in-love with the guy so who am I to disapprove?? I'll leave that role up to her papa.

Whether you love them or hate them, the pics are cute & dare I say the pair even look quite stylin’ in most of them.

So ladies & gentlemen it's without further ado I introduce to you all, Miss Amy Winehouse...

(Had to include this amazing shot of Richards here... I mean come on...)

How do you solve a problem like Anita Pallenberg?? She had her issues, make no doubt about it, but the way she rocked those fur coats back in the swinging 60s & 70s, has been etched in our minds ever since. Basically the woman was a bad-ass, trend-setting, rockstar-dating, heroin-shooting, black-magic devout, troublemaker who came extremely close to breaking up The Rolling Stones.

Her 70s/hippie/glam-rock style is emulated today throughout the fashion world, you only have to look to her crushed velour pants, high-volume shoulders & the masses of chains & bracelets adorned down her arms.

Add to that the fact that she had Keith Richards babies and is Kate Moss' biggest style inspiration, how can you not love the woman??

Amen to that sister...

In the spirit of summer, I shall try shed my chilly Melbourne, hand-me-my-70+-sunscreen-thanks, state of mind, & attempt to embrace Sydney's love of warmer temps & sun-tan oil. In Sydney if there is an even slightly cool day, you would swear someone has died. Like, don't even go there. So here is a little post paying homage to the Sydney way of life. Shots are taken from a photo-shoot at Bronte Beach that I styled for our label's lifestyle online page. The clothes are my own designs, except for my friend Simon's of course. Speaking of which, isn't he a dream-boat!!
I shall leave you now with your eye-candy..

Enjoy...x

It was probably the happiest day of my life when I stumbled into the vintage store on Melrose in L.A. and found these bad boys... to-die-for vintage Americana-style shorts that fit me like a glove (as seen in black&white shots above). Actually I lie they were originally jeans, but me being me, I hacked them off into short shorts. Looking back on it I actually would of quite enjoyed them as jeans right now, lets just blame it on the fact I was most likely delirious with jet-lag, not to mention I'd probably spent far too much time gallivanting around Los Angeles, living the life of a spoilt-brat socialite for those precious few days.

God bless America...
